Vans High Top Check-02

This month the regular rendezvous with the marvelous customized models produced by Vans over that magic decade that is called the Eighties gets double. We didn’t managed to date these High Top and Era with any accuracy, but we are pretty sure that the former is older than the latter. Details aside, both models confirm in the most explicit of manners that the Van Doren’s brand was a king of custom back then – and we are so glad that the company decided to produce anything similar within its Premium line Vault. Both models’s quotations gravitates between 300 and 400 bucks, even if used (!) and this because of the rarity of their custom versions – two-tone for the High Top (usually such a print was the exclusive of the Skate High or the Era), Cow Custom for the Era, today much sought-after by Japanese collectors.
